We have followed the development of Luca's 2012 Borodino project for some months. Two years of planning and development have now culminated in a fantastic game to commemorate the bicentennial of the battle. See Luca's report of the game on his Borodino 1812-2012 blog. Meanwhile, at the other end of the scale, both chronologically and in size, Warren aka Michael is staging a series of games based on the first battles of Napoleon's first campaign in Italy. The latest of these is Montenotte, Napoleon's first victory of the campaign, which Michael developed into a balanced scenario that was played out at recent convention October Surprise. He has a detailed game report with excellent photo accompaniment on his blog, along with details of the scenario.
