1813 here we come...

This way to the 1813 bicentennial and more miniature glory!

The bicentennial of the 1812 campaign 'officially' ended with the last of the member of the once Grande Armée departing Russian soil on 14th December and so we, like history will change our gaze to Germany, and particularly Saxony, for the great battles and the 'big battalions' of the 1813 Campaign (War of the Sixth Coalition or War of German Liberation) and, of course, the last year of battles in Spain.

Some groups got in early.

One that I have only recently 'found' is the report of a fabulous looking game of the Battle of Vitoria that was posted in September this year and played in 2011(!) at the Lundin Links in Fife.
