Big Bicentennial Bashes

The 200th anniversary of Salamanca was recognised in fine style by the team at the Hall of Heroes in Bankstown, NSW Australia. Read Sparker's fine account of their great scenario game—with fabulous photographic accompaniment—which began with the re-organised French line after the destruction of Thomières' division.

Meanwhile, the Hofkriegsrat team (HAHGS) have staged the first re-fight of the entire Battle of Borodino in this bicentennial year. Their game, featuring over 3 000 figures on a 30' x 5 ' table and involving 18 players was played at the recent Historicon Convention in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Peter has provide a fine description of the action with LOADS of great photos.
