More Salamanca and more

Everytime that I skim over my favourite wargames blogs, I seem to discover more 'gems', either directly, or via links.

The latest in my exploration of the latter is Murdock from BC Canada and his mini Napoleonics. He recognised the 200th Salamanca with this intriguing mini-game using his home-made DBN rules. He also recognised the bicentenary of Vitebsk with this fabulous vignette of Napoleon approaching Vitebsk, wargaming in the garden-style; another great post on his blog!

Another of my recent 'discoveries' is Mr Farrow's blog and his excellent report of their recent game of the initial stages of the Battle of Lutzen, featuring Ney's defence against the Allied attack. Loads of great pictures of masses of 6 mm figures; fabulous. I really enjoyed the descriptive photographs and the dice 'special effects'!

Lastly, for now, but by no means least are Karim's updates of his project to recreate the Waterloo campaign in 10 mm for the bicentennial. Check out his beautifully painted French guard cavalry and the report of his play-test of Quatre Bras.
