Months of planning, contributions from some generous 'benefactors' and, mainly, years of sustained effort on the part of one dedicated member sees the Avon Napoleonic Fellowship ready to stage their long-planned bicentennial game of the Battle of Borodino, 200 years to the day.
It's a hot summer in Italy, reports Lucca, but that is not stopping him from preparing for his own Borodino scenario. Like the gents at the ANF, he is madly painting troops to have them ready in time.
